Dr. Sameena J. Rao is originally from Marlboro, New Jersey. She was recently married and enjoys tennis, running and traveling.
Education:
Dr. Rao is a graduate of Boston University in Boston, Massachusetts, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.A. in Medical Sciences. She earned her medical degree from the Boston University School of Medicine where she also completed her internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and served as Administrative Chief Resident. She completed her Fellowship in Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery at Emory University School of Medicine, Atlanta, Georgia.

Most recently, Dr. Rao has been in practice at the Lahey Clinic, Burlington, Massachusetts.
