Mitchell was born and raised in Lafayette, Indiana. He completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Purdue University in 2017. Mitchell then worked as a medical scribe with Urology of Indiana for two years after graduating from Purdue. He completed his Masters of Physician Assistant Studies at Butler University in 2023.

Mitchell is certified by the National Commission for the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is a member of the American Urological Association (AUA). He joined Urology of Indiana in June of 2023.

Outside of work he enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with his girlfriend, Kelsey, his friends and family and his pets, Rufus and Peach.
