Julie Dorsett was born in Indianapolis, IN. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Indianapolis and her Doctor of Nursing Practice at Marian University in Indianapolis.

Julie is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Her areas of interest include urogynecology, post-surgical care, overactive bladder (OAB)/urinary incontinence and patient education.

She has a background as an emergency nurse before joining Urology of Indiana in 2022 as a nurse practitioner. She enjoys cheering on the Indiana Pacers, spending time with family and friends and exploring walking trails and parks with her husband.
