Jennifer was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. She graduated from Indiana University in Indianapolis, Indiana with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Neuroscience. She received her Masters degree in Physician Assisting from Eastern Virginia Medical School, Norfolk, Virginia.

Jennifer is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Pi Alpha Honor Society. She also has worked several years as an EMT/Paramedic and continues this work on the weekends.

In her spare time, Jennifer is an avid reader of science fiction and fantasy. She enjoys spending time with her husband and playing with their new puppy and cat.
