Amanda Fuhrer was born in Lexington, Kentucky, and grew up in Batesville, Indiana. She graduated from Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana, with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Biology, followed by her degree in Health Science as a Physician Assistant.

Amanda is certified by the National Commission for the Certification of Physician assistants, and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. Her areas of special interest include prostate cancer, lower urinary tract symptoms, impotence and general patient education.

Amanda joined Urology of Indiana in July 2002. She is married and enjoys traveling, running, and water skiing. She also enjoys interacting with people of all ages and having the opportunity to learn from others.
