Groundbreaking at The Bridges Medical Office Building Development
Carmel, IN – This week marked a significant milestone as Cornerstone Companies, Inc. (Cornerstone) and Urology of Indiana, LLC (Urology of Indiana) came together to celebrate the official groundbreaking ceremony of The Bridges medical office building located at 11380 Illinois Street, Carmel, IN. The Cornerstone development team, in conjunction with Urology of Indiana, closed on 3.7 acres of land at 111th and Illinois Street in Carmel earlier this year. Cornerstone will develop and build an approximately 50K square foot medical office building including tenants Urology of Indiana, Northwest Radiology and Integrated Cancer Care.
The groundbreaking ceremony marked the commencement of the construction work on the project and special occasion to celebrate Cornerstone’s long-term relationship with Urology of Indiana and other partners. This project is an example of Cornerstone’s integrated platform, bringing together development, construction, investment, brokerage, property and facility management. The anticipated project completion is scheduled for October 2024.
The City of Carmel, along with the support of Mayor Jim Brainard, who attended the groundbreaking ceremony, were implemental in ensuring the high-quality medical office building development came together and will be an asset to the city. Thank you to all the project partners – Urology of Indiana, Northwest Radiology, Integrated Cancer Care, Stock Yards Bank & Trust, American Structurepoint, Gramman Design, and other collaborators – for helping ensure the success of the project. This undertaking has been a true labor of collaboration and innovation. The full team involved were thrilled to witness the groundbreaking ceremony as the first steps toward turning the vision into reality.
