Urology of Indiana Employee CAARE Recognition Winners

Urology of Indiana recently announced our quarterly CAARE Recognition winners. This Program reflects our core values: Compassion, Adaptability, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence. While we feel that our employees exemplify these values on a daily basis, we created a program to recognize individuals that go above and beyond for our organization with their dedication and hard work.

Jamie has shown every aspect of CAARE during these challenging times. Even though she’s had a great deal of work on her plate, she is always willing to stop to help anyone out. She goes above and beyond to ensure that everyone within her team is knowledgeable in their field. We’ve seen her stop to take time and train other staff members when they are struggling with a process. She will coordinate multiple providers in the office without complaining while still finding time to get her daily duties taken care of. She has trialed new processes and given great insight on how it could be improved. Covid-19 has been a trying time, and she was key in working with her team to make things work properly each day.

Laura is the definition of our company statement. She has been living it since before it was a hashtag! Laura shows Compassion by not only showing endless empathy to our patients, but also her coworkers. She is a comrade to all and is Accountable to a new depth. Every person on our team knows that Laura is always there for them, whether it’s a personal dilemma or a work-related question. We have all had to be Adaptable during the pandemic, but Laura’s ability to truly roll with the punches set the example of how we should accept each day. The Respect she has for our organization sets another example. She “leads by example”. The way Laura Goodwin leads our team (without the title, without “have to”, without the expectation of), front office and medical assistants alike, is the Excellence we should all strive to achieve!
